What began as a simple three-visit trial quickly turned into a much-needed reminder to reinvest in myself and rebuild the healthy habits I once had. Shirley is amazing to work with! She is the reason I kept up with training even though I am not much of an exercise person. Since we started training my energy levels are higher, my strength is improving, and my posture is looking much better. And as a bonus she manages to make it fun and make me feel like I accomplished something. Highly recommend training with her!

I’ve only been working with Shirley for a few weeks, but I’ve already learned so much. From the very first session, it was clear that she’s incredibly knowledgeable. Shirley does a thorough assessment as part of her initial steps which made me feel that the plan she created for me was truly individualized to my specific needs. I had chronic pain in my left shoulder and Shirley’s program significantly reduced the tension and achenes I had. Now after a workday, I will mindfully stretch and roll to ensure I can maintain my progress because of what Shirley taught me.

She also leads by example and motivates you to think about the long term, not a quick fix but what do I need to do consistently to feel my best. At the gym, she encourages you to believe in your ability and taught me how to properly lift to ensure my safety and effectiveness.

Chronic lower back pain --- gone!
Incredible! A huge thank you to Shirley, who has been working with me now for about five months, that pain is miraculously gone!
Working with Shirley has melted away my hip and lower back pain I have had for over a decade. I even caught myself saying “wow” out-loud when I was turning in my sleep, because for the first time it was not excruciatingly painful.
She has a firm and gentle way for motivating and instructing me to learn and do daily stretches, to now working on strength training, so that I can be the best version of me, even 10 years from now. She pushes me to face my fears and crush them. I had a stroke that affected my sense of balance and I never knew the fear I had until I was faced with the paralyzing inability to balance. She has helped me to do things I did not think I could, to not give up, and to be mentally and physically stronger. I highly recommend working with Shirley. If you have chronic pain, you need to meet with Shirley!

Shirley has been an amazing personal trainer since day 1. I have been experiencing chronic back pain for almost 2 years now and I have come across Shirley's instagram post. She did a thorough assessment and pointed the areas that I need to work on. Every session is tailored to my needs and she pushes me in the best way. Still a work in progress but I'm starting to feel and see some improvements now in my mobility and pain. Shirley is very professional, supportive and truly invested in my growth. This is my first experience with a personal trainer and Shirley has made it the absolute best first time experience anyone could ask for. I was always fairly intimidated by the thought of a trainer but from our very first meeting Shirley has made sure I feel comfortable and that my needs are met.

Shirley helped me learn things about myself that I never would've known after a just a few calls and photos and immediately made the idea of improving exciting. She talked things over in a very positive and easy to understand way that kept me from feeling too overwhelmed.

In just a few short weeks I have already started noticing improvements to my energy levels, stiffness and just overall mood. Shirley is always a delight whenever I show up for our sessions and is extremely active in helping me stick to my goals in both nutrition and exercise throughout the week between our sessions.
